| Unfortunately I only got to fish on Sat. EsoxJunkie and I had fish up and on... Including a fish that kept my "Lucky Lure" due to solid strand leader snapping in the middle? Jamie had to fish alone on sunday due to a family emergency for me. I'll be back up with the outing on Tuesday hopefully!
Again Cass shows off with 3 over 50 and the 54" monster.

| I have to say a big congrats to Laura Morrison and her daughter Miranda for finishing 11th, the only mother/daughter,all woman team to place anywhere in the tourney ever.
I hope that I get to beat the water to a froth with my daughter some day.

Location: in the white boat | Seems the majority of the fish were caught on the main lake fishing the bars (deadmans, cedar, stony etc). Saw a guy catch a 49"er off Wishbone. Heard various lure choices from Reef Hawg to Jackpot and bucktails. Only 1 fish was caught in Allens Bay, and from our experience the reed bite was non-existent. Shady and I struggled on Saturday, and GregM subbed for Shady on Sunday due to a family emergency. Greg and I didn't fare much better on Sunday either.
The Extreme group, PapaJoe, Sluggo and Shady are there now for the outing, and hopefully things picked up. Talked to Extreme yesterday morning on the water before I headed home and they had raised a big fish and lost another mid-40's on Suicks in the first hour of the day, so maybe things are picking up. I'm looking forward to their report at the end of the week. |
