| Anyone tie flash with Zip ties? Or any other methods other than thread? |

Location: Aurora | Mass producers aside, no self-respecting tyer would admit to using zip ties.
Having said that, I have however used them during emergency situations in the field.
I've even used braid and one time, a couple strands of tinsel wrapped around with an overhand knot or two and then added a drop of super glue to get by. Held up pretty good fer an afternoon. |

| Buy them pre-tied and save yourself a headache and mess no matter how you do it. Yes, it costs quite a bit more but for me it is well worth it. |

Location: Aurora | On another note, I've been tying skirts on aluminum rivets recently.
Like most good ideas, it came from someone else and man does it werk slick.
Mandrel goes in the vise, knock it out when yer done, slip it on the shaft, and if that isn't slick enough, get this now..
No corrosion!
