Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | I talked to the Comfort Inn that MuskieFirst stayed at, they have no deals for the PMTT event. They were surprised to hear that no one called them and asked for a block rate. I would like to stay at the Comfort Inn because of the way they treated us when the MuskieFirst family was down for the Spring Cave outing. I talked to them and asked if it was possible to get a group rate and they would be glad to accomidate us if we can get 5 rooms booked. I am wondering if anyone else would like to stay at the Comfort Inn the three days of the PMTT in May. If we could get some interest we could get the rooms at a good discount. Pool, hot tub, contenental breakfast and electric throughout the parking lot is some of the good reasons I would like to stay at this quality place. Its 3 miles from tournament headquarters, about the same to the launch and just off the interstate. For the $$$ you can't beat it. Price is $72 a night without a discount, who knows what they will do for us. Muskiefirst got the rooms for $50. I would like to patronise this place because of how good they treated us this Spring. Who might be interested in rooms, I would like a head count so I could talk to them about price/discount.

Posts: 938 Location: NeverNever Lake | Mike, I got nothing but good things to say about the Comfort. We checked in a day early for the outing at the regular rate. The next day Sponger and I went to pay for the outing's rate. They refunded us the regular rate and gave us the outing rate for that 1st day. I will find it hard to "Dis" them anymore. Heard talk about them loading the vending machines with Rattle Trapps.... .....................................................RAZE

LOL! $5.00 per bait, stick in a 20.00 and receive 4 baits pre-rigged. Daggone good place to stay for sure, and the rooms are plenty nice/good sized, plus the gas station is next door too. Right down the road is the Pig Out, a small barbeque place w/ breakfast etc. that should be now open, and Crash's Landing is just down from there, and the lake is just down from Crashs...a 5 room block would definitely be the way to go if you can scrape up the peeps for sure!

Daggone dude! We ate the cook last spring...he was slicker than a tub of rhubarb. Morhead is just down the road, and has a great Mexican place that will leave you stuffed as a spring tick, plus they have 2 steak places there also. Who needs TV when you have T REX???:O
