2008 Gil Hamm Chapter Challunge is approaching fast!
I am excited to be your director for this year’s Gil Hamm. Judging by the amount of
reservations at the resort, this is shaping up to be one of the larger Gil Hamm events in
recent history! You will find an agenda on page 2 of this document.

There is still plenty to do and that includes you. It is very important that all chapters
register their teams as soon as possible. I need a head count for event planning. To date, very few of you have registered with me.

I am pleased to announce free meals will be available for all registered contestants on
Tuesday (dinner), Wednesday (dinner), Thursday (dinner), and Friday (lunch) courtesy of
Tri Esox Productions and Break on the Lake Resort. In the morning, breakfast will be
available for a fee. There will be a prize raffle on Thursday night. On Friday night we
will have a post event party at the Lodge. There will be deep fryers with frying fixins set
up for cooking your cleaned pike (or whatever). This is a “community” event so
understand that we are all sharing what we bring in. This is a great time and the Fargo
Moorhead guys know how to do a Pike fry. Think of it as a happy hour with pike
nuggets as appetizers.

Here is what I need from you as soon as possible:
Registration fee of $25 per team. Make check payable to “First WI Muskies Inc.”
Along with the registration fee, for each team, I need chapter name, names of team
members and contact information for all members or at least a team “captain”. I need
phone numbers and email addresses. I will use email for primary communication.
