Location: Toronto, Canada | We started the trip with a short evening casting session. I explained to my guests that it may take more than a few casts before something happens. By the second hour we saw small muskies giving its quick flash on a jerkbait. Just over the 3 hour mark, we hit a fish on crank bait. as you can see the fish had some power. With great smiles across the boat and having think that kawarthas ski's are known to be skinny in the summer?? Its been wierd lately (live realease program kicking in???).
The next morning we launched the boat by by 7:30am and had our lines wet by trolling at 8:00 am. Conditions were mixed sun & clouds, cool strong wind coming from the north. We hit our second fish at 8:20 and gave us a hell of a wake up call, another thick kawartha muskie. 2.5 hours later the sky had cleared to big blue skies as we hit our 3rd fish off the prop wash. 4th we fish that hit 1.5 hours later. We trolled for another 5 hours leaving us with a quick on off hit. It was long but beautiful day on the water. Thank you Al, Steve, Domenic and Scott for the wonderful time spent and especially for creating another great memory!
enjoy the pics
