Subject: Pokegama Lake Grand Rapids MN. Stocking Need help!!

We are trying to get the MN DNR to stock pokegema with Muskie (Which are already present in the system in small numbers) so far to no avail. The local chapter of muskies inc offered to pay for it , still no go. The DNR did a survey in the area and ended up with a 66% approval. I believe it would not only relieve some of the pressure on other Itasca county lakes but, also has the potential to grow some trophy fish. The only response so far has been "It's not a priority at this time". If you are from the area or even if your not Email the local fisheries and let them know this should be done at [email protected] Any help would be greatly appreciated .
