| USACK AND RUSCH WIN WMT'S PELICAN LAKE TOURNAMENT
A full field of muskie anglers competed in the WMT's Pelican Lake Tournament on Sunday, August 22. At stake was a chance to compete for over $35,000 in cash and prizes and to qualify for the WMT's Invitational Championship where two Ranger Boats and more than $100,000 will be handed out.
The WMT's Pelican Lake Tournament paid down five places:
1st place: Brian Rusch, Park Falls and Dawson Usak, Rhinelander
2nd place: Gary Zaug and Sean Stilson, both of Plover
3rd place: Tim Brzezinski, Mosinee and Ralph Brzezinski, Washburn
4th place: Troy Schulfer and Scott Cisewski, noth of Stevens Point
5th place: Ron Roehrborn and Clay Schmoeker, both of Kaukauna

WMT'S BOOM LAKE TOURNAMENT PRODUCES BIG NUMBERS
Eighteen legal muskies were registered during the Wisconsin Muskie Tour's one-day tournament held on Boom Lake on Saturday, August 21. The eighteen fish registered broke the previous one-day WMT record of seventeen, set by the 2003 Pewaukee Lake tournament.
The WMT's Boom Lake Tournament paid down five places:
1st place: Pete Hilman and Phil Schweik, both of Mosinee
2nd place: Brent Heikkinen, Tomahawk and Gary Bushong, Rhinelander
3rd place: Mike and Pat Hunter, both of Rhinelander
4th place: Brian Kastner, Woodruff and Brian Emmerich, Hazelhurst
5th place: Tony Piantek and Tom Vanderhei, both of Shawano
