The Illinois Department of Natural Resources does not anticipate the water to move through the system fast enough to allow for a change to a No Wake status this weekend. With the high water level, the <place w:st="on" />Fox River</place /> and the Chain O'Lakes will remain closed to ALL vessels through this holiday weekend and possibly longer. This includes canoes, kayaks, sailboards, inner tubes and sailboats. This message will be changed immediately if and when boating conditions change.
