Had a weekend on buckhorn lake in the Kawarthas at Scotsman Point resort. My wife and I took the kids (ages 3 & 1) so a lot of time was devoted to worm drowning for the sake of the little guys and only about 6 hours of real muskie fishing. No fish we boated, lost one on a hook up and one other followed, both were 30" class fish. Sat. it just turned windy, cold and rained, making for miserable fishing, esp. when nothing much is happening. Sunday was great, but no wind so we couldn't even get a drift along the shoreline going. however the kids loved the boat, and the 3 year old caught a couple of bass (1 pound class) on a worm, so he had a great time. Just laying the foundation for future father-son fishing trips I hope.
