| Fishing conditions were perfect for the WMT anglers on the Manitowish Chain, September 13 & 14. In response to the ideal weather, 25 muskies would be registered for the event with four being scored be Bob Miesbauer and Jeff Danielson to win the event. At stake for the for the event was over $25,000 in cash and prizes along with a $30,000 Ranger boat, provided by Heckel's Eagle River Marina, for the biggest muskie 50" or larger.
The tournament paid down 10 places:
1st- Bob Miesbauer, Butternut and Jeff Danielson, Elgin, IL.
2nd- Bob Davis, Hubertas and Adam Davis, Ironwood, MI.
3rd- Dan Wohlleber, Winchester and Dan Markofski, Manitowish Waters
4th- Brian Gorski and Garth Mueller, both of Wausau
5th- Dan Buss, West Bend and Bob Chitty, Luck
6th- Landy and Scott Roepke, both of Waterford
7th- Kent Stadler and Jeff Langlois, both of Wausau
9th- Kevin Moore and Gene Scherf, both of Waukesha
8th- Mike Etzel and Paul Parise, both of Ladysmith
10th- Abe Lang and Kevin Mahlberg, both of Oconmowoc
Championship results will be posted in the next couple days.
