Just wanted to let you all know that the weed kill on the North end of Channel that was done 2 weeks ago has really done a number on the north end of Channel. It's as barren as a desert! Weed killer was applied from shore out 170 feet into the lake which will basically wipe out everything from shore to about 5-6 feet! Anyone hook any muskies up there recently? Any fish seem to be unusually red or hemmoraging due to direct contact with the herbicide? Last year when this was done guys were catching muskies whose bellies were bright red immediately after the weed killer was applied. I'm assuming this was a reaction to the chemicals?
