Location: Alsip, Il | My dad (87) this past Monday christen my new Basscat (Actually MuskyCat), also nickednamed by ToddM. as Musky Rocket (67mph.) with a 40 incher. We were at Shelbville Monday afternoon through Wendesday afternoon, with my sister and brother-in-law (a bassfisherman yuck)for a short family outing. He got the fish within the first two to five minutes of the trip, I just handed him the rod with a shad rap 9 (we were going to start trolling) and started to take my rod out of the rodlocker when I hear I got one and after a good ten minute fight we had a nice forty incher. Now to prove there is no justice in musky fishing my brother-in-law catches a 38 incher on a wiggle wart and then my sister catches a 31 incher on a half of a nightcrawler. What do I have to show me "0", nothing, nota etc. But I am very grateful to have my dad get a nice one. Good Fishing, Al |
