| Has anyone determined the optimum height for pole mounting a Go Pro on a boat. I have cut a slot in the end of an ABS pipe so it will fit inside of a Springfield seat post which I want to put on the back deck while casting and the front deck while trolling. I am wondering what height to cut and cap so I can mount a tripod head. The boat is 17 foot. I would also like to be able to pull decent still shots from the video when alone.
