Does anyone know of a good source for info on advanced hardbait construction? I am interested in creating some of my own baits and I want to try to use wire-through construction for these baits. Is this absolutely necessary or even possible if you are making baits in your basement? Thank you in advance for your help.

I am actually doing my first one right now. Trail by fire for me. Row Hunter (Doug) is really good at it. He may help you. You might be able to type in the search thread "thru wire" and see what comes up.
Good luck

Believer, Here's a couple I've done. Two pieces of wood, index, route, dowel, cut, shape, wire, then glue and proceed as normal.

Thank you (everyone) for your help. The photos help alot and I now have a very good idea of what I need to be doing with this method of construction.
