| Does anybody troll Rapala Super Shads for Muskie? Tips or advice welcome.

Location: SE, WI. | Back in the Hay days on mill lacs guides used the super shad raps. Many in Green Bay also pull these a lot! They account for quite a few of the big fish caught. Many use some sort of snap on weights, or in line weighting systems to get a big spread on these. JD |

| In 1994 In-Fisherman had a Video Muskie Mechanics and they had a segment on trolling Shad Raps and they caught some big fish and they passed it off as Lake O f The Woods but it was Winnipeg River. These lures Troll good except they are made of Balsa and it doesn't take long to get chewed up. |

The SSR runs 5'-9' unweighted. Tackle Industries has a plastic knockoff that trolls down to about 18'. |
