i've been in the middle of moving houses, so it delayed the start to my boating season this year...but i finally got a chance to get the new rig out on the water yesterday for the first time.
i even managed to slime it on the maiden voyage when a 35"er cooperated and ate my Baby Wabull.

Tuffy X-190 Tiller
90hp Mercury Optimax, 9.9 Merc ProKicker
MinnKota trolling motor
Humminbird electronics

although i'll miss the flat-out speed of the console version, i'm really going to enjoy all of the additional floor space in the tiller version. talk about wide open!

I've been looking forward to seeing this series. And I thought your console version had more space than any boat ever needed...
Nice looking ride, and obviously a bit of a fish magnet. How big is the gas tank?

That is one sharp rig. Could possibly be the best all around fishing boat for WI waters.

How low does she draft in the water?

Lambeau,

The boat looks great... What is there not to like about the color scheme! I have been delayed in picking up mine. My brother asked me to pick up his daughter who has finished law school in Ohio. I pick up mine the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. It's killing me to wait.

wow, sweet looking rig! interested to know what your gps speed is.mounting the electronics on the right side is a great idea from a convenience and safety stand point.did you get the i-pilot with the terrova?if not, put it on your fathers day list,it's friggin' awsome!

yep, she's tricked out with the latest electronics: linked Humminbirds front and back with Side Imaging in the back and a Terrova with I-pilot. i tested them out last week and they work just as well as advertised. it'll be fun learning how to use it all effectively throughout the season.

i still need to play with prop and engine height; once i get that dialed in i'll report back on the performance. i expect mid-40s at least.

mid-40's with a 90-loaded glass tiller?

the lack of a mertens on a 115 for 19' glass tillers is too bad. if you can get that boat rigged with what you've got for weight to perform at those expectations then it would be unique to it's class. it's the reason i didn't bite on a 618T ... so, this one if it can overcome that reality would surely be sweet.

It will do low to mid 40's with the right prop.

i'm running 40mph right now turning 5100 rpms with half-tank of gas and all of my normal load of muskie gear. with the right prop running 5600 to 5750 rpms, i'm hoping for an extra 4-5mph, yes.

regardless, it fishes awesome and runs great.

I must say...the rear casting deck with the seat on the starboard side has to be the best tiller muskie set-up of all time. Looks as good on the X-190 as it did on the 2060 I saw at Boulder Marine a few weeks ago. Mike, good luck with the prop set-up.

looks like a roomy layout Lambeau. Curious why you would go that route over something with a deeper V that could handle bigger waves like the 1890 Tiller.
What advantages does this have over that rig in a tiller?
if you can get 45 out of that boat with a full load and 2 guys that is pretty good for a 90 hp. How does it come out of the hole w/ that load?

I am curious why you added a kicker with a tiller and the 90hp. Is it for backup in case the 90 goes down or will you need it to troll?

Boulder Marine has one in stock for a bit longer (it's sold), has another ordered that will be there in a couple weeks (it's sold too) and TJ works there and has one as well. All the rest built this year and last are sold at this point.

I have a 2010 X-190 Esox Deep V with a 200 Mercury Optimax and a 9.9 Pro Kicker. I'm more than happy to get anyone out in mine for a spin just about anywhere in northern Wisconsin(north of Wausau, WI).

Any pics of it sitting in the water? Does it sit nose high like the console model? Just curious, thanks.

The console model doesn't sit 'nose high'. Neither does the tiller.

2060 T Esox Deep V. Exactly the same layout in a 20' 150 HP rated big water tiller.

Call Boulder Marine, they just sold a 2060 tiller boat. It was an excellent looking boat with the same great casting deck. Yep, you could take an army fishing in it! HUGE.

Just couldn't stay away from the tiller boats eh? You can cover lots of water in a console boat with a big motor, but I still love my tillers for the room and fishability they offer. Very nice looking boat, and a very nice rear deck for a tiller boat.

With a 200, medium to light load, 65mph is pretty common. I had mine without a kicker, medium load at 67.9 last year.

Fully rigged, 200 Opti, 9.9 Pro Kicker, tandem trailer and fully optioned out, low to mid $40K range.
