On the WHOLE lake, not just 600' from shore. Going to make opener very interesting...

It makes it fair for those of us with small outboards to race to the spots... HA!

Treats only follows the posted limit when he is near the other limit. I am excited he cannot out race me to his secret spots.

Does anyone know if the restriction has been lifted? I know they have a water elevation mark they are waiting to get under but I don't know where to check.

I think it's going to be a little while before it is lifted. I was downtown Wayzata yesterday afternoon and the water was up to the bottom of the docks over by Sunsets (or what used to be Sunsets). It was very surreal looking out on the lake and seeing all those power boats but no wakes, and it was eerily quiet.

Lakes gotta drop around 4" before they start lifting restrictions from what the marina told me.

What was amazing is that we were fishing an entire bay by ourselves and this dude comes putting to us and drops his tm not 20 yards in front of us?!?!?! When I called him out he just looked at me with a stupid look on his face saying he likes to fish this spot. Amazing!!!!

Treats. This is a 'no wake' rule not a 'no idiot' rule...they are still allowed on the lake.

Just in case you were wondering. It's going to be awhile, with the rain scheduled for tomorrow the lake will rise. My guess, 4th of July.
