| I have #6 clevises on them. I made 1 with the deep cut blades that has a 1/4" bead under it and 1 with regular blades with a 3/8 bead under it.

Location: Detroit River | Are you using solid or hollow beads below the clevis? Hollow beads have a rougher opening (small burrs) & they cause more friction. Plus the hollow beads will start to cut into the clevis after prolonged use (mainly with trolling). I use 5/16" solid beads below the clevis on my bucktails.

Location: NorthCentral WI | I've had issues with the deep cup blades on inline bucktails.
I believe the deep cup colorados are better suited for safety pin style spinnerbaits. |

Location: Madtown, WI | I use the absolute smallest beads you can get to fit on your wire directly under the clevises and then get incrementally bigger until you get to the lure body. You can also try to bend your clevises to more of a perfect U shape so they fit together better.
I also think deep cup blades may be part of the problem. |
