I dont care about Wisconsin record as that one is in dispute. Here is a list of Musky state records. Many are outdated and I can not find current ones. Perhaps someone here can update the list for me. Michigan 48 lbs 0 oz Skegemog Lake Charles S. Edgecomb 1984 I know that the Michigan record has been broken twice since this list was published. I see some states that have Muskies where I never dreamed they would be like Alabama. Mike The best way to compile a list would be to search each state and not look for a list that someone else created. This list only shows the Michigan GL muskelunge. That record was broken in Sept. 2009 and now stands at 50.5#. The record not shown is the N. strain muskellunge was set in 2000 and stands at 49.75#. My first quest was to see how many states had a record Musky. I have been researching a few of those since. Georgia for instance. I would have never guessed in a million years that Georgia had any Muskies at all. The French Broad River in North Carolina as well. Now I am seeing that Most states have a record or at least have Muskies of some form. This is too cool. Mike

Posts: 639 Location: Hudson, WI | My neighbor caught a 72.4 pounder out of Deer Lake, WI two years ago, but they fileted it before anyone could see. And he didn't have a camera or a cell phone. Even though he texts at least 72 times a day for no reason.

Posts: 1106 Location: Muskegon Michigan | True, Im not concerned about that though. Im just surfing the records to find out not only where Muskies are found but how big they are per region. I also saw none listed for Quebec. I know Quebec must have a record do you know what it is? Mike
