I will be installing new electronics at the bow of my boat and was looking for something a bit stronger/secure than the standard rectangular plastic cover with the two screws. What are any suggestions that anyone has had good luck with?

Perko Clamshell covers work pretty dang well. I'm assuming you're talking about where the wires enter the deck.
