Water must finally be warm enough in northern WI, saw my first muskie by my dock in an area they spawn almost every year. Didn't get a great look at it but looked big and spooked as soon as I got close to the lake on the steps. Seems a little later than normal but water temps have been a little cooler too.
Kind of miss my old wooden dock. The newer, aluminum dock on wheels is far easier to put in and out but used to be able walk, carefully, on the old wooden dock and look straight down at the fish without spooking them. Can't do that on the aluminum no matter how hard I try.
