I have a Big Tooth Juice Mini 8 marabou bucktail that spins like a top on the retrieve, giving me significant line twist. Are there any mods I can do, as far as anyone knows, to keep the entire bait from spinning?

Thanks, Joe

You can try bending the wire right below the eye to create a bit of a keel...offsetting the eye, while keeping it parallel to the shaft. I'll try to load a pic.

Above works

Another option is adding a bell sinker which acts similar to a keel weight

Be sure to check that the blades spin freely because the whole lure should not spin significantly. The reason the whole lure spins is usually because clevises are bent or the wire is damaged. Also a good swivel on your leader should guard against line twist.

Good tip, but this thing spun right out of the package.

I asked the reps at Big Tooth. They suggested a 45 degree bend at the eyelet. It worked like a champ.
