Posts: 64 | With possible shortage of suckers I was going to try some bluegill (or other panfish). I was just wondering what the best way to rig them would be? And yes I live in WI so it's legal.

Posts: 1023 | When I used them in the past, I'd put one single hook through the nose and let them swim. It was tough, because getting them to swim normally was tough. I tried a few treble hooks on the top of them and they never looked quite right. I tried a perch once and that one was easier to rig like a sucker.

Posts: 1212 Location: E. Tenn | I've used them for stripers, but not musky... hook through the nostrils and you're good to go. I doubt you'll be using any over 8". Pepper.. I don't know where he's at in WI, but south of US10, there's a 26" minimum size. Edited by miket55 10/21/2019 11:51 AM
