The drain plug on my 95 Ranger is loose. I’ve noticed the last couple times out that there was a small amount of water in the bilge after a day on the water. I just noticed when I twist the the plug the metal insert moves about an eighth of a turn in the FG transom.. Is there a replacement part for this? What else would I need? Adhesives etc.
TIA

I think he’s referring to the actual metal sleeve the plug goes into, I have no idea on how to fix that but give ranger a call they probably know

After watching several U-Tube videos and a trip to West marine I was able to replace the through hull drain tube.

I purchased a 1" transom drain tube, a flanging tool, and a tube of 3M 5200 fast cure polyurethane. I was lucky that the boat was bone dry. I had not put the boat in the water this year due to too many other responsibilities. After making the repair I waited 24 Hrs. So far no problem.

Thanks for posting this. I never knew this was available.
(I don't have this problem, but now know how to address it should I be faced with it).
Thanks
