Quick question, when did Tuffy move to all fiberglass construction on the transom?

Thank you!

I want to say 2007, not positive. I know 2001 would definitely be wood though.

Thank you! I have found a very, very clean stored inside from day #1 boat, that is so clean do not believe it would have issues. Appreciate the response.

The Esox Magnum went to all composite floors and decks in 2006 and a composite transom several years later. There are a few prototypes out there built with a type of composite we tried out earlier. No way to tell without pulling back the carpet to look at the floor. When you get the boat make sure there are no unsealed holes anywhere. Remove the motor mounting bolts one at a time, goop them up with silicone, and reinstall. Old unsealed holes and the motor mounts are where trouble begins. Check the transom cap too.

I quick way to tell is remove floor vent or seat base. Made of a high density foam with fiberglass covering. Mine came directly from Tuffy I picked up at lake Mills was also shown had reinforcement plates in certain areas for mounting equipment. Was excellent upgrade. The Individual who just purchased mine could not believe how dry and clean it was for being 2000. The boat was highly used had 10 plus years going to long legged lake ( Road really sucks) and 18 years on Wabigoon and a lot of other lakes.

In 2000 I run on top of reef Long Legged later when lake map was made it was named Dan's Reef . Boat was brand new that year did very little damage just dinged up Gell coat. They were "Great Boats" I just moved to Lund 1875 Impact do to Tuffy in question now.

If it was proto type I never knew.

Steve I do not believe we ever met but you did send me a nice Tuffy Jacket back then.
