Anyone have any words of wisdom? If you happen to be inthe Milwaukee area I’ll trade beer and pizza for info.

Blueberry island area is a good start. Black and nickel and black and orange worked well. Topwaters were good too. Lots of fishy spots start casting it wont take long to get action going. Vegetation was the key. Just be careful there are sunken boulders and islands.

Shallow weedy bays or any irregular pocket of decent size in shoreline. Smaller cranks and bucktails. Small orange with black jerk bait if bluebird skies or cold front.

I still have dreams of Splitrock Point, and the small islands nearby. m

In or near sandy bays even when you think they should be deep.
