Has anyone been fishing lake Kinkaid at all lately? Any report would be nice!

Following

It’s been several years since I fished Kincaid. Been thinking of heading there in the next month or so.

Check out Scott Donovan at Shawnee Expeditions guide service on facebook. He has been fishing lately...good guy, too!

I'll check it out, looks like my home waters will be thawed by then so no 6 hour drive for me.

I was hoping to get my first trip of the year in down there with Shawnee Expeditions but they have had to shut it down because of the current executive order.

I was told water was 58-60 down there right now and I was shooting to be there the upcoming weekend for a few days. I’ve never fished it before, just trying to decide if I cancel the trip all together or if it’s still worth a shot.

Any thoughts from people familiar with the water would be much appreciated.

Johnson Creek ramp is still open.

How's the water level? Can you get a decent size boat in and out? Last time I launched up there it was super shallow and I had a Tuffy then...

Ramps are open and I’ll be heading down tomorrow for my first trip there. If anyone has any information they’d be willing to share, any help is much appreciated.

Again, Johnson Creek ramp never closed. You are correct, however, about Paul Ice and the Marina ramps opening. Water temps have been 58-65. Lots of traffic from bass and crappie guys/gals. Fishing has been spotty for most.
