Hello everyone,

Ive noticed that my big blaided bucktails have a tendancy to get the blades tangles up with the leader during casting, anyone have a solution for that?

Thanks for any advice

Add weight to the back of the lure. Change you cast too.

Let more line out on the cast. I do like 6’. Seems to help.

I believe that usually happens as the lure hits the water. If you tap the spool with your thumb right before that so it lands with some tension on the line (facing the right direction) and start reeling right away that can be avoided.

Lift your rod tip as you tap the spool, which tightens the line as the bait lands. m
