Hi Everyone,

Looking to possibly get out one more time this coming weekend with the warmer temps coming.... Wondering what might still be open. Heard rumors of others who have been out on smaller lakes ice fishing with around 5 inches of ice in places.... It's coming to an end...and seemingly quick...

Was out on Tonka Friday afternoon and by the time I came back to the launch, we had ice forming, but luckily the boat in front of us broke it all up. Figuring that is now most likely locked in

So...wondering if people could post reports of open launches yet on the metro area lakes...

Thanks

Steve

We talked to the barge operator on Tonka last week they still had work to do they can plow through the ice and help keep it open while they still have work.

Wayzata = Grays? Or a private ramp right in Wayzata? When I was at Grays at 6 AM it was iced up enough that I couldn't launch.

Wayzata as in the Wayzata ramp by the yacht club east of Down Town Wayzata. The ramp is public and there is street parking. In the summer its barely usable because parking is limited but this time of year there will be no issue.
