Posts: 28 Location: Pacific Northwest | RiverRat79 - 10/2/2018 6:25 AM Can anyone tell me where I can get wooden handcrafted diving Musky lures. Please Duh.... You've gotta move to West Virginia and start knockin' on doors. Don't you know anything??? Since I'm on a roll giving out sound advice, I'll add that Bill Crane has been making some good quality cranks for a long time. I hear that Jack Cobb's cranks are good, too, but since he passed away a few years back, finding them is probably tough. Anyone here ever try those Muskellunch baits? I first saw them probably a couple of years ago, but didn't pull the trigger. If memory serves me they weren't through wired, which made me a little nervous since I have no experience with big fish and screw-in eyes. They sure looked tasty.

Posts: 360 | Muskellunch baits run nice. I have not ran the bigger ones but the 6”ers don’t run very deep

Posts: 103 | There are a fair amount of well made, hand crafted cranks out there. I agree with sworall, check the basement baits page! Unreal work. Many of us make lures, but don't have a company or anything. Facebook pages are good too. DK musky lures, supernatural big baits, fretthold baits...

They're not quite the category of bait that first comes to mind when I think "hand crafted", but they've definitely been on my mind since I first saw them. I took a peek over in the Basement Baits section of this forum. There's some serious talent behind that door. Serious, serious talent.
