What is everyone's opinion on trolling larger baits like mattlocks, headlocks, big jakes etc on lakes that are labeled "small bait lakes" such as Pewaukee?

Muskies are savage beasts, and like big meals. I would definitely try it.

muskies don't read books! Size doesn't really matter. Been throwing Mag dawgs out there for years!

I've taken a 49" ER on pewaukee on a 10" Jake, on One November 12. 52 degree water. The late John Laimon took the picture of this fish!

Another local guide runs 9" grandmas quite often.

If you know musky techniques on certain lakes, usually they will work on other lakes!
