Wanted to share this with anyone who might be interested in making a trip up to Eagle Lake before the season ends.

Straight from the Eagle Lake Island Lodge website:

Fall 2018 - Musky Mayhem Fall Fishing Contest!
Special musky fishing event September 20th - November 5th 2018
Enter our Musky Mayhem fall fishing contest

Book a minimum of 4 nights at $225 / night (Mention Muskie Network and stay a 5th night for FREE)

One qualifying fish per person per stay
Fish must be documented with photographs and witness(es)
Catch and release only

Prizes:
45.0 – 50” fish, one night of your stay is free
50.1 – 55.0” fish, two nights of your stay are free
55.1 – 60.0” fish, three nights of your stay are free
60.0” + fish, trip is free, free trip next year (5 nights / one person), $5,000 USD cash = total value USD $7,000

The $225 price is per person. All of inclusive. Bait. Gas. Boat. Lodging. Three meals per day. Open bar. All amenities. No extra charge for anything.

The normal rate is $300 per night per person. At this rate you 1) get a discount off of the list price 2) get the chance for free nights if you catch qualifying fish, 3) get the fifth night free (via the Musky Network promo). All inclusive.

There is a shore lunch on the island every other day... but, they will also pack a lunch for you if you wish to stay out and fish.

Breakfast is served in the lodge from 7-8 am. Dinner is served in the lodge at 6:30 each evening. These are restaurant meals served by the kitchen staff.

Basically... each person can stay for 5 nights for $900 each. If you have 3 people... it comes to $2,700 for the 4 nights plus 1 free night. If 3 people qualify for a free night... the total comes down to $2,025 for 5 nights at $405 per night - or $135 per person/per night.

Feel free to double check my math. I need some sleep.

Not bad for having everything included... including a boat and gas to put in it. (just my opinion)
