Little arbor vitae will produce some good action. Big st germain as well, but also some real nice fish in there. Try Plum if you are fishing after dark or on windy/cloudy days. Lots of other options within 30min drive as welll??

I'd recommend asking about water temps. I know here in Central WI temps skyrocketed almost 10 degrees in three days with all the heat we had last week, and probably not much better this week. Night fishing may be your best option given temps and boat traffic.

This is a fishing report group on FB run by Jeff Van Remortel, always good info and if you ask about temps, weed growth, etc. he's always been good about getting back to me.

Head over to rollie and helens and buy all of the fishing the north country editions . They hit just about every lake including the lake x's. If you can find the old statement sized fishing hot spots area books get those too. They are what the fishing the north country books are based but more of them. Not in print for a long time but the general info is relevant, everything is in those books!

Fishing Hot Spots makes good maps of the area lakes, that is good resource. I know the mapped the chain I live on a couple years ago and I was impressed with the job they did.

You listed you have fished some of the best Trophy Lakes in the Area.... BUT--- Having fished Musky in that area since 1977--I can tell you--- The Better MUSKY LAKES are the smaller---200- 600 Acre Lakes that all the Big Trophy Hunters overlook.... Yes-- so many of the best lakes are simply passed by on the way to the Big Waters..... I think if you Look -- as suggested in an earlier post---You can find many , many Super High Quality Musky lakes right under your nose right where your at..... You will find that you have to do your own research and Exploring as I know Most Locals and Others will not give up their QUALITY SMALL FISHERIES very easily.....Have Fun and Keep exploring---- Those Best Musky Lakes are all around you.
