Probably a dumb question but just wanted to double check...

The first year I changed the lower gear casing oil I used the SW 80 and then when I had it done this past season by the marina they used the high performance blueish-green SW 90. Unknowingly I bought the premium SW 80 and was wondering if it were ok to use the 80 after the 90 had been in there? I assume it is but on the back of the oil container it says not to mix premium with the high performance but the guy at the marina said it was ok as long as you let the 90 drain out.

Just wanted some other opinions on this, thanks!

What size engine you running? Low HP is the 80, higher hp the 90. Low is under 115 or so I don't remember. If you let it drain out its ok to change different oil. What the warning is for is if you put 80 & 90 together in it.
