When was the last time you seen a aluminum head lock? Not done yet put eyes on some nail polish and clear coat will be ready for next year. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]()

Posts: 20255 Location: oswego, il | My guess is that it is the only one? Very cool you said it is heavy does it float? I hope it works at least as well as the wood one, after all might be hard to tune!

Posts: 1638 Location: Minnesota | I'll run it off a plainer border 15 to 20 feet back at around 3 to 5 mph so I'm guessing it will run 10 to 15 depending on how fast im going. June won't get here fast enough lol

Posts: 572 | wow, not sure what to think. I hope I am wrong, but it just doesn't look like it will run smoothly 10 to 15 feet. Of course, the body has not been discussed. However, the lip connection and location doesn't appear to be set to run the lure in the depth as desired. Somehow the lip location and the angle of the lip doesn't look like it will perform as desired. Interesting what others are trying out.... some really lead the way. Hope this one works good too.

i have zero confidence into this body material, action will be decreased a lot vs a light wood bait.but it could make a good model for someone who want to make a 2 piece mold.1 thing is sure it would keep is shape

Posts: 411 Location: Waconia,MN | It's not always the angle of the lip that gives you depth, but the length of it. The only thing that would concern me is how far down the line tie is on the lip.

Posts: 1638 Location: Minnesota | All dimensions are the same as the the original wood baits. I'm a welder and was thinking why not. Wether it works or not I bet no one else has one.

All but it being an aluminum body have been tested and more than proven over the past few years. Still looking to get my hands on a few, as I've been witness to their effectiveness.
