The yes votes were 658,000 to 147,000. It always amazes me at how many people click on to MuskieFirst. This is good!

Glad to hear it dudes/dudettes! PETA is based here in Norfolk, and a group was going to sue the state over this law, so peeps went to the polls w/ a vengeance, and it paid BIG dividends. now if I could experience such freedom here w/in me own home...

A liberal legislator opponent to the referendum, yesterday, was trying to minimize the validity of the right to hunt, fish, and trap vote. He claimed that if something so petty as this would be approved, he would start a movement to make it a constitutional right to Bowl!....
...What is his point?.....I already thought it was!

Steve,

Who was the guy said that? I would like to send him a letter explaining the difference between Hunting and Bowling. Who ever that was, he needs to be out of office!

Steve,

Although I believe in the system itself, there are an awful lot of those people that need to be out of office. Here's an example:

Ask John Gard (who represents Peshtigo area and lives in Sun Prairie) why it's OK for him to collect 88 dollars per day to drive from Sun Prairie to the Capital. The 88 dollars is what he would be allotted if he drove from Peshtigo to the Capital every day. I sure wish I had a 440 dollar a week part time job that I didn't have to do anything for.

Scott

Maybe we can talk  Mr. Gard into donating some of that travel stipend money to the cause and guarantee our right to hunt and fish through a new PAC formed by our sportsmen and women.

Unfortunately, in that game money talks.
