Location: oswego, il | I have plenty of baits that were not made for musky but they are musky lures to me. Upsize the hardware a little and your good to go. The large heddon double prop spook with upsized hooks, props and superglued screw eyes is an excellent musky bait. |

Location: oswego, il | Here are some of the baits. I modified the heddon baits with bigger hooks and split rings, bigger props, no washer in the back and jb welded screw eyes which will break before they pull out.

Location: Winfield,IN | My fiancé uses a heavy 8' surf rod with the largest size pfluger president lady series spinning reel spooled with 65 braid and throws the 4oz super d and smaller cranks up to 8" and I'm hoping to get her first fish this Wednesday. We mostly fish indiana lakes that are know to be lakes that have a great big rubber bite on them. |

Count your blessings.
Mine insists on ripping grandmas and throwing double tens all day so she can "fish with the big boys".. She's only got a few seasons into it, but with a 44" and a 45" under her belt and a handful of smaller fish, she's bound to break 50" before me.
I keep trying to tell her that a double 8 bucktail or even a #5 Mepps will catch plenty of fish, but she won't have any of it. Throwing a small lure to her is defeat. To me it's a blessing! |
