Going to give this a go and paint up some big jake lures for muskies. Would like to try a perch pattern and a walleye pattern. Was thinking of Createx colors, as I don't have that great of a ventilation option.

Will I need to mix colors or will I be able to buy good colors off the shelf?

I'm thinking I'll need a black, a white, a yellow, an orange, a green. Probably would do a red and a royal blue for a chrome/blue option and some red spots.

Get the primary color set. You'll be able to mix up all sorts of colors.

I use metallics for nearly everything. The more colors you get the more options you have. And as far as cost goes paint is the least of your worrys.
