Just wanted everyone to know that I was pre-fishing for last weekends Cass Lake tournament on another nearby lake on friday and hooked into a monster. I set the hook twice and on the second pull my rod snapped (Made by a BIG manufacturer). I proceeded to try to fight the fish with my new 2 ft rod but lost it almost right away. I met Mr. Worrall at the Pre tournament meeting and told him what happened. He proceeded to loan me his Aurora Trillium 7ft. rod. The rest is history! Sorry Steve you can''t have it back! Thanks again Mr. Worrall!

No, no, put the rod in the BOAT. Do not tow it, it will get scuffed up. What is hitting out there in the saltwater? Anything that is good to eat?

Yes indeedee!!! Doormat flounder, some trout + 2-5 lb. bluefish. Nephew has been tearing them up at Va. Beach after school + they go to Carolina too + are having a lot of action around Oregon Inlet....from what I understand the water has been super warm thus all the sharks + a guy at work had his spool stripped last week. The best fishing should be around the middle Oct. up through Nov. depending on weather...we are going down at the end of Oct. + usually do well then; striper, trout ,flounder, redfish, bluefish etc. Went down last Thanksgiving + it was SLOW....coldest one in years. Let me know if you are coming down......[:sun:]

Hi all, I have been fishing with

and have never had one fail me.
Keep up the good work Steve.[:p]
