Does anyone have an E-tec on their Tuffy.I'm looking at the 150 HO E-Tec over the Merc 150 4 stoke for the X-190.Any Idea on speed difference. Thanks

Not sure if the top end speed will be much different, but I'd bet the hole shot is considerably better with the Etec vs the 4stroke. My tuffy used to have a 90 Etec and got on plane faster than my new one with the 115 4stroke. Neither is bad and the 4stroke is whisper quiet, but it's hard to beat the snappy torque of any two stroke. I would say if your concerned about speed and that boat is rated for a 200, you will probably be happier with the performance of the Etec or a Pro XS for that matter.
