Curious to see what every-ones top 3 prop wash baits would be. I've have no luck as of yet hoping it's my lure selection. I run heavy and Med heavy rods with 80 lb braid 36-40" floro leaders. any help would be great thankyou

Muskie Train MX9 always on my down and wash rods. Multiple 50"+ fish on them and lots of 45"-49" also largest fish I've ever had on hit one also.

My best has been 5" tuff shad but you have to make sure it is a very true runner to get it to go in the wash at higher speeds.

Krushers and Baker baits have produced in the wash for us as well as sledge jerkbaits.

On a side note... I've been hesitant to run bigger hard pulling baits as I worry that I would have to set my drag to tight and might lose fish on such a short line. I see that Jeff Hanson suggested the MX9 anyone else put bigger baits in the wash? Any issues with hook ups due to a tighter drag?

5 - 8oz. Spinnerbaits are awesome in prop wash, and always run true!!! Leverage free treble makes them an awesome hooking and holding bait!!!!

Wileys Fatbodys in the wash are killer. I wouldnt be worried about tightening up your drag a bit if you have too. I do 90% trolling and do so with alot of really good fisherman. you would be amazed how some people run there drags and they still catch fish consistently. Some run drags so tight you cant pull line out and some run drags 1 click past free spool. That reel will still scream no matter what. Its all preference.
