As my kids get older, we do more and more tubing and skiing. It is very difficult for the kids to get back in the boat without me pulling them back in. I don't have a hydrofoil on the engine, so that can't be used as a step.

Has anyone added a ladder to their Tuffy? I bought one (http://www.basspro.com/Folding-Ladder-Universal-Mount/product/803/?cmCat=CROSSSELL_THUMBNAIL), but I'm not sure how I can install it. The place where the bolts would go through the transom are in the same spot as the top of the splashwell.

I learned the hard way long ago that most boats should have a method of gettting back in. I bet most people can't get back in there boat if they fall out, and yes that happens.

I took a rope and made 3 loops in it to put your foot in so you can climb back in and tighed it to the back cleat.

(It works and I wouldn't fish out of a boat that didn't have something)
