| My local bait and tackle has these chinese made " premium" graphite musky 7 footers for $30. They have no recommended line or lure weight on them or the tag. I actually laughed while looking at them. But , how bad can they actually be? A few times every summer I take somebody fishing that is new to baitcasting and or musky fishing and this rod could be good for that or other specific applications. Anyone have experience with these? I am always looking for good deals but hate buying junk that falls apart. |

Location: South-Central PA | Give one a shot, it's only $30. It may work out fine for what you need.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if it started coughing up parts (guides, reel seat) during its first season of use.

| My buddy bought one. He liked it. We went on a week long trip rained every day. The cork tape handle desinagrated after being wet so long. He had the handle rebuilt and still uses it. |
