Ok...went to Eagle Sports and they were almost completely out of Crane 207 and 208 baits. Talked to the people there and they made it sound like wood baits are so difficult to move anymore. I couldn't believe it b/c of how people are willing to pay over $20 a bait on these.

Has anyone heard that they could be going out of business? I didn't see any on Rollie and Helens online site so who knows. I would once again find that hard to believe b/c they seem to always be wanted.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they are either remodeling or moving to a new building this year. They should be back up and running either late this year or early next year. So for the meantime they are hard to come by (driving the high prices for used ones).

Bill and his wife are in there 70s. They do not make as many baits as they used too and only sell of a select number of dealers. If you need them pm me. I do custom paints for one of the places that still sells them. Wouldn't be a bad time to start stock piling them. In my opinion one of the best all time baits made the traditional way.
