Location: Chicago | I am finally going to get to go on a real fishing trip this year. Given all the family/ work obligations this year and not having a boat, I have only fished one day this year (FRV Tourney). Husky Jerk is finished coaching his son's travel baseball team and we are headed to Eagle River Chain on Wed - Sun next week.
I am curious how the fishing have been and if there is bait pattern. Not looking for exact spot or anything, but a little 411 on very needed trip is appreciated.
Do what you can to show up to work on Monday10 fingers! (See photo)
Enjoy the holiday!

Location: Alsip, IL | Was just in Iron River MI, for 5 days Which Is Very Close And Similar water. I got home last night and we put 15 in the net and saw at least 50. Numbers Were Great This trip, but size was so so. We got a 40 and a 43 everything else was between 29 and 38. Most running around 33. Top water prop baits were killing the fish for us I Threw Top Raiders My Partner Had The small Tyrant Tackle version. I did land a few on burned bucktails as well. The bite was definitely solid every day but Tuesday. Good luck |
