I'm looking at possibly getting into trolling, even though I find it pretty boring, and I'm wondering how do you what power rod to get. I prefer to cast but as my dad can't throw big baits due to his shoulder I'm thinking trolling might be our better option in the fall. Not sure about trolling with a 2 stroke but I just started thinking about this.

Been told that you aren't supposed to run a 2 stroke at low speed/rpm for very long. Have I been lied to?

4 Strokes are relatively new. People have been trolling with 2 strokes since the beginning of outboard motors.
