Does anyone have any recommendations for the best two-piece rod options? I need to throw a variety of baits from smaller spinnerbaits to 8" Gliders, 10" Jakes and Double 10 Bucktails. I have been looking at the TI's but would be curious to see what else is out there that is reasonably priced. Also looking at baitcasters only to save myself from buying another reel. I have two Abu Garcia 5500's so would be in the market for two rods. Also not against the idea of trying some fiberglass options - thanks!

Did you consider a telescoping? I would go that route before two piece if possible.

Would rather go the two-piece option unless there is something out there that can telescope to under four feet total length - also not sure if I would want that headache when two-piece has worked in the past for me. Having to travel to go chase skis so wanting something I could either stash in a car or even consider flying with.

You might find a real heavy bass rod option. Only issue might be the handle will be super short vs a typical musky rod handle length. Of course I think you need to buy a TI 2pc rod

TI, Musky Innovations, and either Gander Mountain or Bass Pro (or both... can't remember) all have 2 pc Musky rod options. Another option is to find a reputable rod builder that gets broken rods from St Croix, and rebuilds them into 2 pc. Just bought a 2 pc St Croix LT from Jawbreaker Custom Rods that came out really nice, and didn't cost a lot. Breaks in half, and very convenient for travel.
