Location: Twin Cities, MN | Before I cut out as some storm clouds that included lightning came rolling though, my partners and I managed to get 5 follows this morning.
The lake itself is quite a bit higher than normal. I had surface temps of about 73. No algae bloom yet which is nice, but plenty of floater weeds as usual.
Of our 5 follows, 4 were on bucktails ( eagle tails / ghost tails) and one on a Water chopper. Most came up right at the boat.
A bit tough to fish a lot of spots as there was a bass tournament going on, but it was just nice to get out.
As a side note, one of the bass fisherman came up to work a spot near me, and asked if he could work inside of me on a small spot. I thanked him for asking, and said to go for it. With so many boats, it was nice to see the courtesy still there.
Good Luck. |
