Posts: 1936 Location: Eau Claire, WI | Boo-Tails and Baby-Boo's by Dave Dorazio... For spinner baits by Shumway's Funky Chicken. or have Ron at Crazy D's tie it the way you want it.

The new Mepps I saw and used last year will be the winner when it arrives this summer.

Posts: 11 Location: Thibodaux, LA | You should check out the new VooDoo Tail Maraboo spinner. I asked them to make two custom for me last year. They were prototyping the bait last summer. Chris (from VooDoo Tails) gave me two to try out free. Caught two fish on them 42.5" and 44". Hold up real well and are good quality. I have a few other tails form them. I like them alot. I don't think you be disappointed. They have a website www.voodootails.com Just my two cents, Jack Latrobe

Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | I love my Bootails. I've been hanging my hat on those and Shumways Flashers for about 8 years now on the dark water I fish. I'm really beginning to love the double bladed jobs(comboo). I cut the front hook off and attatch a split ring to the eye of the old hook then put on a free swinging hook. Lost the biggest fish I've ever hooked in WI due to the leverage it got on the front hook 5 years ago(boy time flies).

Posts: 578 Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | I will have to go along with Muskypunk on this one. Mepps Musky Marabou's will be out hopefully sometime early this summer. There is a 53" LOTW beast on video taken on one of these baits while testing and filming them; hook-up to release. Durable, Durable, Durable is what I can say about the quality. The action of the bait is second to none. No one, and I mean no one, should be disappointed with this marabou spinner. Chuck

Chuck showed me the new bait at Minnesota, the qualit looks excellent which is a big factor with Marabous. Keeping all that fluffy stuff on the baits in crucial. Can't wait to toss them on the CAVE soon!!!
