Posts: 25 Location: Warren, Pa | My family managed to get 5 on a small local lake. 44", 36", 31", 28", and 24". Turned out to be a great birthday weekend by catching the nice 44 incher.

Posts: 1220 | Mostly did the "wife" thing in a nice cabin at the St. Germain Lodge. Had a great meal at Fibber's Restaurant there too. In my limited time out on the water, muskies were not to be seen but I just absolutely tore into a nice pack of smallies including one six pounder. A six-pound smallie on bass tackle is pretty much going to beat the limited fight the muskies have in the early spring too. Any kind of a decent rock pile can be a great time for smallies while you're waiting for the musky to get over their "love thing."

Posts: 146 Location: Alsip, IL | Southwest MI, rose 6 different fish, landed a 40.5 that was the ugliest fish I've ever landed, looked like a propeller hit him, then got a 45.25 that was the prettiest muskie I've had in my boat. Awesome color. Good weekend all in all. Bucktails and swimbaits worked.

Posts: 230 Location: St Paul, Minnesota | Fished the Hayward area Saturday and Sunday, with very little luck... Water temps got as high as 67, crappies were spawning in the shallows, and we saw pretty high skies. I think I had one swipe at my lure, between a dock and a downed tree in 8ft of water, I snagged him on the side of the back and he got off at boatside. He was an upper 30's, I'll say a 39". No other known follows, and no other real action what so ever, not even a pike.

Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | We boated three with the best being 35.00003" We raised an insane amount of muskies up to about 42" or so. None of which would pay any attention to our figure eights, "J's", or "L's". We caught 7 northerns with the biggest at 33". 6" Slammers, small buck tails, and Top Raiders were the ticket. All in all it was a great weekend with my son. Edited by Steve Van Lieshout 5/28/2014 10:18 PM

Posts: 441 | Beautiful steelie!!!! Used to catch a lot of steelies, on Lake Michigan. Scamainia's were my favorite. In the 80's, was the best time, around Burns Ditch.
